Summary: Despite being in the middle of a renovation the property was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the stay was fantastic.

Summary: Disappointed that the hotel was under renovation and we were not informed. I understand this must be done, but honesty means I am an informed customer, and without it, why should I trust your brand? This includes only advertising the reduced breakfast menu! We paid for the full menu, hot food options, and were VERY disappointed. Again, why should I trust you in the future when you didn't trust me enough to let me know about the reduction in service?

Summary: Walked in, The gentleman helping us was pleasant, but it was obvious the place was under construction (this was unknown, no transparency). He was only able to give me one room key due to lack of keys (very inconvenient with a family of four) . The room air conditioner didn't seem like it was working well. I had to pull the filters and clean them myself for better air flow (they were clogged). The sink handle wouldn't stay up (you had to hold it up while washing one hand otherwise it would shut off). The place was a straight up mess! It was very disappointing to say the least. I stayed at a different hotel on the way back (less reputable) that was cheaper and nicer. Like I said very Disappointing.

Summary: I can’t say it wasn’t clean or comfortable. What I can say is my breakfast consisted of toast both days (wasn’t informed of the “renovations” limiting breakfast) and they booked my 7 year old and I, who were on a long trip and were exhausted in a room on top of someone’s sweet 16 going on downstairs, and the bass made our room shake like it was getting beat with hammers. Be sure to check that they don’t book you in that room on top of the teen club and make sure they didn’t take out the hot breakfast for some reason I’m not sure of (it didn’t look like they were renovating the breakfast area, just the front desk), and I guess you’re fine. We received no word on any of this in advance. Really unexpected from Hampton Inn.

Summary: The hotel is being renovated. I was there for only 1 night; they gave me a room by the elevator and the ice dispenser machine; it was very noisy. I had hard time to sleep due to foot traffic and the noise coming from the elevator and the ice dispenser. The bed was comfortable but 3 of the 4 bath towels they left in the bathroom had stains on them.The hotel manager advised me to report my situation to Expedia since I booked my reservation through a 3rd party. Parking can be an issue because the parking space is shared by two hotels.

Summary: Hotel is currently being renovated. Hotel room on the 4th floor was renovated and in pristine shape. Great stay in a good location. We have stayed here several time and is always a great place to stay.

Summary: Convenient for University of Richmond visit. Vallarta Mexican restaurant right across the street that was delicious and had a Mariachi band.

Summary: Hotel is being renovated and our room was very nice and huge. The breakfast was one of the best free hotel breakfasts I have had. Beds were comfortable. Very nice stay!
